Welcome to Kitchell Memorial Presbyterian Church!
We celebrate open communion at Kitchell: all those baptized into Christ and into the church community may come to the Lord’s table. We celebrate the Sacrament on the fourth Sunday of each month.
Frequently asked questions
Our church has a large municipal parking lot adjacent to our property. Handicapped parking is available. Our sanctuary is accessible for all, with a motorized lift to enter the narthex of the church.
Newly completed is the all-accessibility entrance to our Fellowship Hall, connected directly to our church proper. A brand new wheelchair compatible lift will also be installed at the Sanctuary door sometime in mid-2021.
Both buildings are air conditioned for your comfort in the summer months. There are restrooms in our Fellowship Hall building, across the hall from our choir room.
What to expect Sunday mornings:
Our sanctuary is a quaint setting. We have no specific dress code, but neat casual is a appropriate guideline. We begin each service at 10 AM, with announcements about our life together and a call to worship. Music, scripture, a message and presenting of gifts are all a part of our usual Sunday morning services.
Following service we gather in Fellowship Hall for coffee, tea or cold drinks and baked goods and treats provided by our Deacons. This is a time of casual conversation and an opportunity for fellowship outside of the more formal sanctuary setting.
Please be aware:
At present, worship is still 100% virtual. This is out of an abundance of caution with the level of local COVID cases. Stay healthy and safe out there!
Please call our church office during the week 9 AM- 1 PM at 973-887-6939 for details to join us Sunday mornings at 10 AM.
