Kitchell begins the season of Lent with an Ash Wednesday evening service. In 2023, we will be celebrating this service with our brethern at Whippany Presbyterian Church on Rt 10 with a 6:30 PM agape supper, song, prayer, Communion and ashes. Please call the church office for details. Holy Week services begin with Palm Sunday at our regularly scheduled worship time of 10 AM in our sanctuary. In 2023 Kitchell will also host services on Maundy Thursday at 6:30 in the evening as we commemorate the Last Supper. Good Friday service will be a Tenebrae service at 6:30 PM hosted by Hilldale Presbyterian in Cedar Knolls. On Easter Sunday we have our traditional celebration of the resurrection at our Sanctuary at 10 AM, followed by coffee hour, fellowship and our annual Easter egg hunt on the church grounds.
